My Gentle Angel Sara,
I was honored with the great privilege of caring for you in life.
You were my spiritual partner ...and my magic.
You warmed my soul with your presence.
Your great passion for life taught me to live fully within each moment.
You inspired me with your tenderness and wisdom,
making my touch upon this world lighter, more gentle.
Your great dignity and respect for all of life taught me the gift of unconditional love.
Grieving you has been as profound an experience as sharing life with you was.
I ache for your presence, to run my fingers through your magnificent fur,
to lay my head on the warmth and curve of your body,
to smell your unique scent, to see you standing before me,
watching as the expressions flow across your beautiful face,
to hear the resonant roar of your voice.
Nothing earthly can fill the great void you have left.
Yet I know now there is no such thing as death.
We are all threads of God's great tapestry,
and I am honored to have my path so closely interwoven with your own.
You come to me in visions, dreams, and the profound sense of your spirit
moving so closely with my own.
You walk with me still, though not always beside me.
You have added a piece to God, and have drawn God into my heart.
At times the boundaries between us disappear
and I feel your footsteps within my own.
Yet a vision of you shape-shifting before a dark moon gives me reverence for the wild,
unfathomable part of your nature, the timelessness of your soul,
and the nearness of the Great Mystery.
You are my myth, my music, my light.
You are here, sharing my smile, my peace...
and I am once again graced by the presence of a great spirit and healer.
Every moment of my life will be a celebration of the time we continue to share
as our relationship continues to grow and transform.
I love you Angel.
You have changed me forever.
Sara Siebern,
let God's light shine from within you,
let His love and warmth comfort you.
Walk in His wisdom always.

Alice Siebern
